Dreams

She closes her eyes and visualises 

the darkness that within-

like starless nights and loathsome dreams,

and the animosity for it all.

Bitterness, regret and desolation

deplete through her core 

compelling the ache in her heart to
turn more vivid and wild.

Forthwith, the ground beneath her
devours her whole
as she falls into a perpetual abyss
of undisputed oblivion.

She throws herself forward
gulping the air down like water 

There will be no sleeping tonight,
she sighs and whispers-
''Oh well, atleast I tried..''
