Tbilisi, Georgia.

12 January 2017 - on my birthday, a Thursday, I was gearing up for laying back on my sofa recliner and soaking in the 32 wishes I got on my Facebook wall. Essentially, ‘I was’ because I didn’t. It was a long weekend so there wasn’t school on Sunday. As I was lurching towards my fossilized coffee mug, my dad intervened before I could have a moment with the mug of mine. He said he got tickets for us to go on a short adventure to Georgia for my birthday on a 3-day haul. I wasn’t expecting that, naturally. So I replied with the most inadequate adequate response Aliyan would: but I have homework. I could see my dad got Picasso to paint a ‘You’ve got to be kidding me’ on his face, what I took from that were two things. 1- stupid reply and 2- Picasso is an extremely talented dude.
Anyway, so I packed my Mac, iPad, earphones and a lot of clothes. Got to the airport, boarded the plane, got upgraded to first class from club tour and wasted the extravagant facilities by watching 3 episodes of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Bummer.
Getting to Tbilisi, Georgia, my family and I were given the program sheet. We collected the keys, got ourselves halal dinner, and made for the rooms.
